Carrabelle Offshore Action with Snapper & Grouper

Fishing out of Carrabelle has been fantastic this month, with clear Gulf waters and light winds making for ideal conditions offshore and inshore. Anglers aboard Renegade Charters are seeing steady action across a range of species, and cooler space has been filling up fast on both half-day and full-day trips.

Offshore, the focus has been on Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, and Vermilion Snapper. The bite has been strongest in the early morning, with live bait and cut threadfin herring doing most of the work. Snapper limits are coming in quick, and the grouper are holding steady on deeper ledges and rock piles about 20–40 miles out.
